Terms & conditions
The terms we work by, in plain language
Last updated: 12/10/2026
About these terms
These terms apply to the Citta website, Citta Companion, and the services provided by Citta EAP and Wellness Private Limited (“Citta”, “we”, “us”), CIN U86909KA2026PTC224451, registered at 20 Cholayil Malleshpalaya Extn, New Thippasandra Post, Bangalore 560075.
They apply to two groups:
- Organisations (“employers”) that engage Citta for the 90-Day Organisational Wellbeing Discovery Pilot, FEAP packages or any related service.
- Employees who are given access to Citta Companion or other Citta services through their employer.
By using this website or any Citta service, you agree to these terms. Where an organisation has a signed agreement or accepted proposal with Citta, that document governs the engagement. If it conflicts with these terms, the signed agreement or proposal takes priority.
What Citta provides
Citta FEAP is a B2B employee wellbeing and recovery system. Depending on what an organisation engages us for, it may include:
- Citta Companion: AI-assisted wellbeing discovery, psychoeducation support, continuity support and early support navigation, with human review pathways where appropriate.
- De-identified organisational insight: aggregated reports on participation, wellbeing themes, risk distribution and recommended interventions.
- HR debrief and recommended intervention plan, where included in the engagement.
- Structured recovery pathways: Citta Foundation, Citta Integration, Citta Inner Circle and Citta Complete.
- Organisational support: the Manager Support Package and Critical Incident and Workplace Trauma Support.
- Ongoing FEAP packages (Silver, Gold and Platinum), available after a pilot.
The exact scope of any engagement is the scope set out in the organisation’s written proposal or agreement.
What Citta is not
Citta Companion is not an emergency or crisis service.
Citta Companion, and Citta’s services more broadly, are not a substitute for medical, psychiatric, legal or crisis support. Citta Companion is not therapy, diagnosis, medical advice, legal advice, crisis support or an emergency service, and it is not a replacement for human clinicians.
Citta Companion helps identify wellbeing themes, support needs, and whether further human support may be useful. Its responses are AI-assisted and should not be relied on as professional advice for any individual situation.
Where higher risk or complex concerns arise, Citta may recommend human review, specialist referral, emergency services or another appropriate support pathway.
If you need help right now
If you are at immediate risk of harm or feel unsafe, contact local emergency services or go to the nearest hospital. Do not wait for a response from Citta Companion or the Citta team.
If something an employee shares suggests they are at serious risk, a qualified member of the Citta clinical team may reach out to them. This is a clinical safeguard. It does not go through the employer.
Confidentiality and employer reporting
Citta is not an employee surveillance system. Employees speak to Citta, not to their employer.
Employer reports are de-identified and aggregated. Organisations receive:
- Aggregate trends across the workforce
- De-identified wellbeing themes
- Participation and utilisation numbers
- Organisational risk patterns
- Recommended interventions
- Attendance numbers, where non-identifying
Individual employee data is not shared with employers. Employers do not receive individual names, individual responses, Companion transcripts, diagnoses, therapy notes, family or medical history, alcohol or substance disclosures, medication information, details of private pathways, the identity of anyone raising a bullying concern, or whether an individual asked for support. Citta will not provide this information if asked.
Small-team rule: if a team or department is small enough that a theme could be traced to a person, Citta will not report at that level. We will merge it upward or leave it out, and say so in the report.
Proposals, payment and when services begin
- Pricing and scope for the pilot and for FEAP packages are set out in a written proposal, usually shared after a discovery call.
- Services begin only after payment confirmation. Citta is not obliged to onboard employees, provide Companion access, run sessions or deliver reports until payment has been confirmed as set out in the proposal or agreement.
- Before launch, the organisation and Citta finalise consent and privacy documents and sign an employer agreement.
- Payment terms, invoicing, taxes and any cancellation or refund terms are those stated in the proposal or agreement.
Add-on services
Workshops, webinars, group sessions, manager support and human intake slots are proposal-based add-ons, unless specifically included in writing.
The same applies to workplace wellbeing workshops, group recovery or retreat-style programmes, and an extended Citta Companion retainer. Add-ons are scoped and priced separately. They form part of an engagement only when confirmed in a written proposal or agreement.
Responsibilities of the organisation
An organisation engaging Citta agrees to:
- Communicate Citta to employees accurately, including that it is confidential and not an emergency service
- Not pressure, require or incentivise employees to share their Companion use, responses or support requests
- Not attempt to identify individual employees from de-identified reports
- Not use Citta reports for decisions about any individual employee’s performance, discipline, promotion or termination
- Provide accurate information needed for onboarding, such as headcount and launch contacts
Using Citta Companion (for employees)
Employees may use Citta Companion for AI-assisted wellbeing discovery, psychoeducation support, reflection and support navigation. Citta Companion is not therapy, diagnosis, medical advice, legal advice, crisis support or an emergency service. Employees should not rely on it for emergencies or urgent clinical decisions. Where an employee requests human support or where higher-risk themes arise, Citta may offer human review or recommend appropriate external support pathways.
When an employee leaves
If an employee leaves the organisation, employer-funded access ends, and the employer has no further claim to that person’s information. The employee may choose to continue privately with Citta. That requires fresh consent, and nothing carries over automatically. Declining costs them nothing.
No guaranteed outcomes
Citta provides structured support and de-identified organisational insight. Citta does not guarantee cure, recovery, clinical outcomes, attrition reduction or productivity improvement.
To the extent permitted by law, Citta is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the website or services, or from decisions an organisation makes based on its reports. Any liability cap or specific liability terms will be those stated in the signed agreement.
